Aşk-ı Memnu is a very famous Turkish romantic drama television series produced by Ay Yapım Productions broadcast bewteen  2008 and 2010. The story  has been adapted from Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil’s novel Aşk-ı Memnu, but takes place in the modern life in Istanbul instead of the novel’s late 19th-century.

This Drama has gained huge popularity since it has been  dubbed in URDU language and rebroadcast on Urdu one tv channel.

Original ost is an awesome piece of sweet and melodious track and keeping that in mind, the channel has released urdu version of ishq-e- mamnoon which got more then 125,000 hits in just one month. So far this track hasn’t not been published on prominent music blogs in Pakistan and India but i don;t feel like missing this one when i saw this Drama today.
